Southern Idaho doesn’t serve up your typical round of golf. On one course, you’re navigating fairways inside a deep river canyon with basalt cliffs and waterfalls as your backdrop; on others, you’re aiming across a desert gorge or lining up a putt beside a spring-fed lake. Using Twin Falls as your basecamp, you’ll find a loop of public courses all within an hour’s drive that combine a variety of playability, small-town character and some unique tee shots you won’t soon forget. The southern Idaho golfing season generally runs from March through November, weather permitting, providing travelers with plenty of opportunities to tee off during travel to and through the Magic Valley.
