  • Writing and passing legislation prohibiting local jurisdictions from raising the minimum wage in Idaho.
  • Sponsored and passed legislation to prohibit local jurisdictions from banning or assessing a fee on any type of “auxiliary containers.”
  • Negotiated and passed legislation that would require all vacation rentals and vacation rental marketplaces to collect and remit the sales tax, “bed tax,” and any applicable auditorium district tax and/or resort city taxes, effectively leveling the playing field for hotels.
  • Negotiated an increase in food licensing fees substantially less than what the public health districts originally wanted, and included language prohibiting the districts from imposing fees outside of the statute.
